Business Licences

Council first passed Bylaw #2025.07 in April and licences are required for any person who does business within the Village, ie: food trucks, farmer’s market, home based businesses, contractors, transient traders (offers goods, services or merchandise for sale or auction) Bylaw #2025.07 has since been repealed by Bylaw #2025.10 which removed the requirement of proof of liability insurance.

Seasonal licences are available for businesses that operate 5 consecutive months in a calendar year.

Excludes business activities which fall under other bylaws which have a licensing fee. 

ie: short term rentals, trailer parks or campgrounds and commercial businesses.

Failure to obtain a license will result in a minimum fine of $300.00
