SHORT TERM RENTALS

Bylaw #2025.02 was passed in April and requires a fire inspection & $500 licence to operate short term rentals. 

Short term rentals must be legal suites and comply with the Construction Codes Act, Building Code Regulations and Fire Safety Regulations. 

Failure to obtain a license will result in a minimum fine of $1000.
