AED Locations

AED stands for Automated External Defibrillator, which is a portable electronic medical device used to treat sudden cardiac arrest. 

It analyzes a person's heart rhythm and, if needed, delivers an electrical shock to help restart the heart. 

AEDs are designed to be used by both trained medical professionals and untrained bystanders, as they provide clear, step-by-step voice or screen prompts.
