Facility Passes

Facility passes are required and must be displayed in your vehicle for use of the boat launch, filleting shack, beach, park & public washrooms.


As a land owner within RVTL, you are entitled to one Resident Facility Pass per property with a house (improvement).  Resident Facility Passes are available for pickup at the Village Office Monday to Friday 9:00am - 4:30pm.  If you are unable to pick up your pass, you are welcome to arrange for someone to pick it up on your behalf.

Fishing

Tobin Lake boasts some of the best fishing in North America.  Try your luck at catching a Walleye, Northern Pike, Perch or Burbot!

Beach

Highway 255 leads you right to it! Whether you would like to swim in the lake, build sand castles, or just relax on the grass, our beach is the perfect way to spend a hot summer afternoon. 

 

Park

The public park is a great area for children and families to relax. Our park kitchen makes it a convenient area for a picnic, or have a fire and roast some marshmallows with our supplied fire pits and firewood. 

 

Camping

Hilltop Campground and Shorebird Inn Campground are both located within the village. Just outside the village Tobin Lake Leisure Campground is just a walk away. If you would prefer to camp closer to the golf course check out Prairie Lily Campground located along Highway 255. 


Golfing

Rolling Pines Golf & Country resort is a beautiful 9 hole golf course located only 15km from The Resort Village of Tobin Lake along Hwy 255.

Winter Activities

Ice Fishing

Ice fishing is a fun, popular activity at Tobin Lake in the winter.  Tobin Lake still holds the World Walleye Ice Fishing record of an 18.30 pound walleye caught in 2005 by Fr. Marius Zajac aka "Father Walleye". Popular spots for shacks are "The Hump", "The Point", and "Serenity Bay".
 

Snowmobiling

Twin Lakes Trail Blazers has 285 kilometers of groomed snowmobile trails in the Nipawin and Tobin Lake area. Click here for a map of the trails. 

 

Ice Skating

The ice skating rink is located in front of the beach. Bring your sticks and pucks, the nets are already set up for you!

 

Cross Country Skiing & Snowshoeing

Groomed trails for the cross country skiing / snowshoeing enthusiasts are located east or west along the shoreline of the boat launch.
