Fire & Emergency


The Village receives fire services from Carrot River Fire & Rescue. 

We encourage all homeowners to be Fire Smart. 

Please look at the Fire Smart brochures below for tips on how to keep your home safe from a fire. 

If all residents carry out the work and recommendations made, we can reduce the risk of structure loss during a wildfire and create a fire-resistant zone together.
 

Disaster Planning

Prepare for natural disasters and other emergencies with our disaster planning services. We help you create a comprehensive disaster plan and provide training to ensure preparedness.

Garbage Collection Update

Please note that due to Victoria Day, garbage pickup scheduled for Monday, May 19 will take place on Tuesday, May 20.

Effective immediately, regular garbage collection will move to once per week on Mondays.

Holiday Exception:
When a statutory holiday falls on a Monday, garbage pickup will be moved to Tuesday for that week.
