The draw for the quilt was made during the 50th Celebration on July 1st and the lucky winner is Gislaine Jalbert from Quebec, Congratulations!!
Since the weather is getting cooler and a lot of rain in the forecast the ladies in the village will be meeting at the hall. We meet at 1pm on Wednesdays. We hope you can join us for coffee and crafts, doing a craft is optional.
October 4th we got together and did floral arrangements.
On October 11th we will be making felt flowers lead by Sue Brazil.
Here are items you will need to bring for the project.
Bring felt and sharp scissors.
If you want to make lavender, holly, or mistletoe, also bring florist wire. For the poppy center you can use a black button or a circle of black felt.
One sheet of felt can make at least two or three flowers depending on the pattern. You can buy felt and buttons at the Dollar Store.
Flower patterns and directions will be provided for daisy, rose, poppy, and lavender (which can be done in green to make holly or mistletoe). Glue guns will be available to use.
We'd love to see your Tobin Lake pics! Please email your pics to tobinlakerecboard@gmail.com and watch for them to be added to our photo gallery.
